I normally do not pass along bad news but I heard our Bishop
speak today on the attack of Satan designed to take your faith
away!. I think about how many are disillusioned by what has
happened with leading Tel-evangelist. You have been
taught to always look at the person through the word
of the holy scriptures. If the word dose not line up with the
image then you must always be cautious of the image. As some
of you know, if I did not challenge to the face "Bishops"
about improprieties based on the word, not their
status, we would have never "progressed" as a vital
force in the culture war. Damage was done but as a church we
recovered. Remember this, there are always casualties in any
war but the worse case scenario in any battle is when your
fellow soldier turns their weapon on you!.
Looking at these reports can cause you to question all these
people have ever said and done. When you ponder such thoughts
in your mind you can be lead to question the reality of a
living God. God has never told us to make Tel-evangelist and
media mania to be our source for guidance. The principle
way will always be the best way.
1.....Repent from sin.(Acts 2:38)
2.... Reverence the word "for in it is life
and health " Proverbs 4-22"
3.... Pray honestly for
guidance. (James 1:5)
4... Then go where you can hear the word
that you are reading. (Hebrews 10-25)
5....Then commit your time and effort and
service to where you are being fed. Corinthians 12-21
We always are trying to take short cuts to salvation. There
are none. No matter how great technology becomes it will
never take the place of the local church and Pastor. It's
God's design. This is a sign of the times. " Mankind
will be seekers of pleasure more than seekers of God"
The world has always been that way but as many of you must be
reminded he was addressing his message to the church.
In the last days men would not face lions in the
arena and be burnt at the stake for proclaiming Christ but
would become self-indulging and more concerned with immediate
gratification. Christians were impaled, beaten to death, torn
between horses, boiled in oil, crucified right-side up and
upside down just for publicly pledging allegiance to Jesus
Christ. Today we see the fulfillment of
Paul's prophetic word concerning the times you and I live in.
We constantly are in pursuit of convenience and things that
are appeasing to our bodies (flesh) The church in America must
soon repent or face dire consequences.
This is more evident here than abroad. God has his number,
there will always be a remnant! There are Christians who are
literally being killed and tortured for their faith in Jesus
Christ. The media doesn't want to convey their heroic exploits
and profound courage. They rather just give you the sleaziest
info on preachers who have forgotten who called them and most
of all why they were called.
Unfortunately, this practice causes an unsuspecting audience
to believe that this is all there is to our faith. All this
means is that God has to clear his name and he is searching
for those whom he can use to do so! Those that want
his Spirit, Those that want the Truth.
